Sharing, Part 2
I had written, a few posts back, about our incredibly generous friend who sent us so many gifts when she became unable to complete her adoption. Here are some more of the wonderful things we received from her:

In this photo (above) you can see bathing suits, bikini swim diapers, shoes, sandals, slippers, and hair bows/barrettes. There is also an adorable little pair of ladybug boots in the back that I just flipped over! I had nothing for Sophie's hair either, so I really appreciate the hair-fixins. Some of the slippers are ladybugs, some are little MaryJanes; everything is so cute!

Hats off to you, our friend! In this photo you see some adorable hats, some of which match the swim diapers/bikinis. You also see another crucial thing I am lacking, tights! I am so grateful. I have no tights for Sophie's dresses. Thank you!

Shorts, and skorts, that's what we've got here. Two sweet little skorts with a ladybug top, and a really fun pair of watermelon shorts with a matching top. I cannot wait to see Sophie's little tushie in these!

Rain rain come and play, then come again another day! Look at these raincoats. The ladybug one matches the boots perfectly, and the Mollie and Bollie has a matching hat in the previous photo. I love rain gear, and have a few funny umbrellas and froggy boots for myself, so Sophie and I will have fun splashing together!

Our dear friend also sent us an amazing array of toys in addition to the dolls from the last post, and I swear I photographed those toys, but, I cannot find them now on my camera. They were great fun toys like Little People and stacking cups and tub toys, and I'm so disappointed the photo's not here as some of them are for older children so we put them away already in a safe storage box up in Mommy's closet. Sophie already has presents for many Christmases to come! This one I missed, and so you can see this one super-cool toy: apparently (I haven't opened the box, after all, it's not for me) the elephant shoots butterflies out of his trunk which the players then try to catch in their butterfly nets. I know some little girls that I can see playing this game with Sophie (besides me I mean. I definitly want to play this game! It looks sooo cool!), and I have visions of them skipping around the yard with their nets.

Fireworks! There are more clothes to come in a future post, but I wanted to post this little patriot outfit. I think this is so adorable! My guess, based on our "possible" referral date, is that this won't fit Sophie at the right time, but we have a tiny little friend who is taking us with her to see some fireworks this coming weekend, so we will share this with her so she can be ready-white-and-blue for the 4th of July.

Thanks so much again, dear, dear friend. We have another post to go to work our way through all the lovely gifts you have sent us, so check back when you can.
We're thinking of you.
xo~
